There definitely is no other summer shoes of the same comfort as these minimalistic slip-ons on a rope sole created by the Catalonian peasants in 13th century.

Seven centuries later, the espadrillas became the favourite shoe wear of other creative fields: Picasso, Dali, Hemingway loved to wear them. The second birth of these bohemian slippers came with the tumultuous and romantic 60th and it's reach for ethnic authenticity. Released by Yves Saint Laurent to the catwalk, and brought to the movie screen and aristocratic salons by Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, they soon caught everyones hearts.
And now, 50 years later, a new fashion wave of eco-chic brought us on the scallops the same brilliantly simple pair. Since authentic espadrlllas are handmade, we've created our own interpretation of the model using a new, slip-on, upper for the iconic sole. They perfectly fit the leg and can be a serious competition to ballerinas and moccasins in the general flat form trend.
Espadrlllas are incredibly comfortable and cool even when it +25C. Bright and discreet colours will add bohemian simplicity to any of your looks, and the most daring metrosexuals will necessarily wear them with slightly shorter summer pants!
